The Mayo Clinic Special Purpose Processor Development Group (SPPDG) is in need of Limited Tenure engineering talent to support various projects.
Performs complex microelectronic engineering functions which may include theoretical development, conceptualization, design, implementation, simulation, software, assembly, test or analysis in one or more of the following sub-group specializations: Advanced Technology, Assembly Laboratory, Integrated Circuits, Signals and Interconnects, Systems, Test Laboratory. Uses project management principles and tools to manage own progress. Applies technical knowledge and experience to perform complex engineering tasks and basic system design using state-of-the-art tools. Works under general supervision on multiple projects, and provides input for new projects. Participates in design reviews of own and other projects. Obtains materials required to complete projects. Analyzes output data, document and report results. Generates papers and presentations, performs occasional travel. Interfaces with other team members.
Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (may include other SPPDG research oriented fields) or equivalent experience required. Typically requires 5-10 years of engineering experience.
Experience in any of the following engineering disciplines is desired:

Must possess or be able to obtain U.S. government security clearance at or above the “secret” level.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The minimum salary every 2 weeks is approx $3661.60, based on a full-time position.
Hours / Pay period
Monday-Friday; Work schedule of 9 hours per day, 9 weekdays per two week pay period.
