Position Summary
This position works in direct cooperation with the Recycling Center/Transfer Station Supervisor, as well as the Director of Operations. This position is responsible for both Driver and Loader Operator.


Loader Operator Basic Job Description:
Manage the inbound and outbound MSW and other materials in the Recycling Center while operating a CAT 950 wheel loader, skid loader, or Case loader, as well as other miscellaneous equipment. Including the daily afternoon management of the activities at the Recycling Center, such as loading MSW (municipal solid waste) into trailers, assisting the general public with drop off activities, as well as general light maintenance to equipment and the property.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Two years of relevant customer service or operations experience; waste industry experience preferred
  • Politeness, confidence, tact, patience and diplomacy while dealing with complex problems
  • Motivational, listening, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
