You’ll be interested in Accountemps’s new opportunity if you are a skilled Financial Analyst. There is a Financial Analyst job open for candidates who are interested in becoming a key business partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This person will conduct financial modeling on various financial products as well as measure, analyze and forecast performance in conjunction with operating plans. This position’s duties will also include advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and preparing reports for management. Major responsibilities

  • Individual that enjoys a flexible work environment, experienced in handling vast amounts of information and managing expectations
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans
  • Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
  • Inspect performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities
  • Review annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations
  • Compose and oversee forecasting reports
  • Participate in planning with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
  • Oversee the monthly and quarterly financial close process by working with Accounting
  • Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support
  • Support weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment level Bookings and P L forecasting
  • Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending – Financial reporting experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of budgeting
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
  • BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
  • Creative problem solver who anticipates risks and opportunities and maintains a vision for continuous improvement
  • Financial planning analysis (go-to-market experience a plus)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • experience in in Spreadsheet and ERP system
  • Understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
  • Practical knowledge in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
